Only you can really answer that question. There are many factors that can go into making that decision such as:
1. Do I need or want extra money at this time?
2. Do I believe I can succeed in this business venture?
3. Do I want an opportunity to work on my schedule - not my bosses?
4. Can I commit to this new adventure?
5. Do I understand that in order to make money I have to put forth some effort, even though it probably won't be a 40 hour work week?
If you answered yes to the above questions, then you are probably ready to try a new adventure! But which one? There are literally hundreds of "opportunities" waiting for you. Sorting through the options can become overwhelming. There are some points to consider when looking at your options:
- Is there a start up cost? What is my limit that I can commit to at this time?
- Are there on-going supply costs such as catalogs or order forms?
- Are there any monthly minimums that I must meet?
- Do consultants/distributors have company based websites and what is the cost?
- What does the pay structure look like? Can I make money?
- What products does the company sell? Do I like the products?
- What training is provided? Is the training individual or meeting based?
- Are there national conferences?
- Is the company growing? Will this business make it long term?
- Are sponsors focused on my learning and succeeding or just building their own group?
- Can I find answers to these questions on a company website or do I have to speak with someone to get the information?
- Is it clearly outlined how I can make money? Can I have home parties? Can I do fundraisers? What are the options? What is required by the company?
By looking at your options, you can best determine which program will best suit your needs. Find a product that you like.
